Pre-bend tool for boat hook

Attach this 3D-printed tool to your boat hook to measure mast pre-bend. Flexible fins allow it to fit most boat hook threads snugly. Measurement range: 1 1/4 to 3 3/4 inches on one side and 2 to 5 centimeters on the other side, suitable for use with tuning guides for the J/70, J/80, and other classes. FDM-printed using PETG filament for durability & UV resistance

Great alternative to hoisting a pennant or crewmate up the mast to measure pre-bend!

Directions for use:

1. Twist or push tool onto threaded end of boat hook
2. Extend boat hook to reach area of maximum pre-bend between the mast and halyard
3. Rotate boat hook to choose measurement in inches or centimeters
4. Set the flat side of the tool against the mast, and measure pre-bend by lining up the halyard to the closest "step" on the tool
